The Associate Protection Professional (APP) designation is intended for those with 1-3 years of security management experience. The exam will measure the professional's knowledge of security management fundamentals, business operations, risk management &response management.
Eligibility Requirements:
one year : Master's degree (or international equivalent)
Two Years : Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
Three Years : No higher educcation
a) Experience as a security professional in the protection of assets, in the public or private sector, criminal justice system, government intelligence, or investigative agencies.
b) Experiece with companies, associations, government, or other roganisaitons providing services or products, including consulting firms, provided the duties and responsibilities substantively relate to the design, evaluation and application of systems, programs, or equipment, or development and operation of service, for protection of assets in the private or public sectors.
c) Experience as a full time on the faculty of an accredited educational institutiona, provided the responsibilities for courses and other duties relate primarily to knowledge areas pertinent to the management and operation of protection of assets programs in the public or private sector.

To gain the post-nominals ‘APP’, you must sit and pass the exam, which is taken at a Prometric test centre.
The APP® exam consists of 100 scored and 25 unscored multiple-choice questions. The exam covers tasks, knowledge and skills across the four key domains in this course.
The exam fee is not included in this training package.
